What do you do when you spend most of your time in the sand and surf in Hawaii and prefer a bikini to business attire? When you're Katie Wilson, you decide to design your own swimwear collection. So, in 2008, she started designing the kind of swimwear and cover-ups that she wanted to wear - and wanted to share them with you. The next step was to get together a small group of friends and family to help her make things happen and Beauty & the Beach was born.

 

It's been an amazing ride for us so far. We started our first line with what we knew best - crochet swimwear and cover-ups along with our signature ruffled lycra swimwear. Each season we continue to kick it up a few notches and it truly keeps getting better and better! 

 

For our 2012 Collection we added some exotic flavors and even more unique touches. Crochet swimwear and cover-ups are what we are best known for and are all handmade and great quality (not to mention gorgeous on!) The 2012 Crochet Collection is as sexy - yet sophisticated - as ever before. 

 

Our 2012 Lycra Swimwear Collection is also fabulous! It is due to launch in November and the styles are focused on great fits and some unique

looks and we think you'll be stoked with the results. We love getting creative with our designs, and we strive to keep giving you styles that you'll love!

 

In addition to our latest collection, our website also offers Beauty & the Beach Classics - styles that are from seasons past that we love too much to discontinue.

 

Still based in Maui, Hawaii, we're thrilled to be growing our family-and-friends-run label by opening an office on the mainland U.S. - in Bend, Oregon - and bringing our distinctive styles to Australia, as well. And you can shop our styles anywhere in the world - whether online or in a number of retail stores in the States and abroad.
